Yesterday was my first hit at the Jazz Gallery. It was a huge honor and I was so thankful for all the people who made it out. We had a great turn out and a lot of fun making music on stage. I am so blessed to be surrounded with such amazing players and people. I am extremely motivated and Im looking forward to some exciting shows this summer. Thanks to the Gallery for this great chance to play!

Roy is amazing for his swag alone let alone his amazing abilities on the horn. This song is a huge inspiration for me because even though its fun to blow over you can sing it and no matter who you are you can get with it! Jazz at its finest!

I’m really looking forward to checking out Adam Friday at the Jazz Gallery(which Is where this video is being shot) I have had the privilege to get to know Adam recently and he is not only an amazing saxophone player but a really good person. So this song is a hard one to listen to now because I you to listen to it with someone a lot. That is the drag about sharing music with someone. The funny thing about this song is the way I found out about it was a SNL skit and while everyone was laughing I had like a out of body experience. It was literally like a scene out of a movie where everyone in the room is doing something and you kind of step out of your body and your watching the whole thing from above. This song was on repeat for possibly a week straight. I think if could I would just make music like this but like I always say I soul is a constant struggle between composition and improvisation……
